Reflection and Intuition

Webb (2008) ighlights the significance of constant critical and analytical reflection, as well as liberating the intuitive domain of the researcher to lead the project in this approach.

This framework highlights the indexical relationship of these two processes that will be used as methods of analysing, synthesising, and progressing from the results of the phenomenological qualitative data obtained in the definition and attention stages, to inform the decisions made in the experiment and practice stages of this cycle. The reflective and intuitive approaches in this cycle are imperative as they link the knowledge gained from the conventional and unconventional modes of research together, effectively establishing coherency and consistency between the process and form, engendering a holistic quality of an arts-informed research process.
